Toy Story

One movie that always brings back memories from my childhood is Toy Story. I absolutely love this movie. Pixar released Toy Story in 1995 and since then there have been two sequels. However, in my opinion, the sequels will never be as good as the original.
Toy Story brings every kid’s dream true. Could you imagine if our toys really did come to life when we weren’t paying attention to them? When I was a kid, I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I still remember going to Disneyworld when I was young and I thought I was so cool because I bought the Buzz Lightyear and Woody toys. Watching movies from our childhood bring back great memories of a simpler time when we had no worries except for what toy to play with. What movies do you watch that bring back good memories from your childhood?
I love watching old classic movies like Toy Story. I feel like the movies made during the nineties and early two thousands were by far the best. The movies made today aren’t as good. I still can’t believe how amazing the animation is on Toy Story even with the movie being sixteen years old. The cast for the movie is also awesome. Tom Hanks plays Woody in the movies, and Tim Allen plays Buzz Lightyear. Toy Story is a classic and if you have never watched it, you must. I am eighteen years old and I still will watch it whenever it is on TV. If you want more information on the movie, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toy_Story.

  1. I’m not a guy, but I absolutely love the movie Toy Story! When I was little this was my brother’s favorite movie so it would be replayed on the VHS tape over and over again until my parents said no more for that day, it soon grew on me to where I didn’t mind watching it. Now when I babysit a little boy, he always has me plug in Toy Story and throughout the night we watch the original and sequels, it’s like being a kid all over again. Disney movies are classics and will never get old especially when you have Woody and Buzz together.

  2. My boyfriend loves this movie! Even at 18 he still has to watch it every time it is on TV. He also agrees with you that the original is better than the sequels. I also love watching movies from my childhood. I loved all the girly movies like Snow White and Cinderella, but I also loved the Bug’s Life and James and the Giant Peach. I liked anything with talking animals and bugs for some reason. I will have to tell my boyfriend that he is not the only guy who still watches Toy Story.

  3. Toy Story is another great movie. The great thing about it is that it is suitable for all ages. Watching it when you are older sure takes you back to those more simple times of your life. It was my favorite movie when I was a little kid, and I think I watched it enough to wear out the video tape. I think it helps teach kids about life lessons in friendship and reminds older people of how important friendship is. I will agree that the sequels of the movie cannot beat the first. This is a great choice of movie to blog about.

  4. Toy Story is definitely one of the best movies of my childhood. When they made the third movie, I was a little skeptical at first because I was worried they were going to butcher it, because the first two were so awesome. But they didn't and I loved every second of it... I had never realized that Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were the voice of Woody and Buzz. It just hit me when I was reading your blog and I don't know how I didn't catch that before... One of the movies that always takes me back to the good old days is, "The Great Mouse Detective." Over all this is the movie I watched the most as a kid, but Toy Story is still flippin awesome!!!
